“I’ve accomplished everything I wanted out of life, like way beyond my wildest dreams. Anything from here on is just icing…”
“Seriously, if you find out that I died tomorrow, I’m fine. Do not be sad for me, ’cause I’m not sad. I died with a smile on my face.”

random pens at work, watchables farewell, grief, loss, remembering 1 Comment
everyone knew him as the guy who dived into a tank of sewage, the guy who got pulled by a four-wheeler on a plastic sled through a cornfield, the guy who placed a toy car up his butt, the guy who did random stunts… the guy who is a jackass. he may be all that but to some who are privileged to know him personally, he is simply ryan dunn—a great friend to all.
no, i don’t know him personally… i’m just one of those who grew up watching them do all those shenanigans. my brother and i laughed our butts off with their crazy antics and hellish stunts. but at the end of each tv episodes (and movies) i guess we saw more than what others say as disgusting and downright stupid—we saw a rare type of friendship, a brotherhood everyone yearns for… of course, some may agree to this while others definitely won’t. but i’m not here to pass any judgement or point fingers or even enumerate all the dos and don’ts with regards to this tragedy… i’m simply here to honor a guy who did made a difference in the lives of a select few…
to the random hero, RYAN DUNN… thank you for your contagious chuckles. pace e bene…

sorry, can’t help sharing the fun and laughter from this show… here’s another segment from the musical — the umbridge “dance-o-rama” part! check out joe walker at 3:25!
you were never my lover (stutter) music and lyrics by the awesome darren criss (the beat got stuck in my head for quite some time). the show, of course, is by the talented starkid productions. be sure to catch starship by the end of the month on their youtube channel! enjoy!

blimey! it’s harry freakin’ potter! erm… wait, who? what?
okay, so i’ve discovered this unofficial, fan-made, parody show (by the awesome STARKID productions) after being introduced to the supermegafoxyawesomehot darren criss (blaine anderson from glee, duh?!) months ago. i like musicals and stuff and this, by far, is my favorite! find out why… keep watching, dudes!
fun ain’t it? wait ’til you see the person who played umbridge (LMAO! sensational!)! so, quit procrastinating and just go and check out starkid at youtube and watch the whole thing — including a very potter musical, me and my dick and starship (to be uploaded by the end of this month, i think).

The power lines went out
And I am all alone
But I don’t really care at all
Not answering my phone
All the games you played
The promises you made
Couldn’t finish what you started
Only darkness still remains
Lost sight
Couldn’t see
When it was you and me
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
I’m beginning to see the light
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
But I think I’ll be alright
Been black and blue before
There’s no need to explain
I am not the jaded kind
Playback’s such a waste
You’re invisible
Invisible to me
My wish is coming true
Erase the memory of your face
Lost sight
Couldn’t see
When it was you and me
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
I’m beginning to see the light
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
But I think I’ll be alright
One day
You will wake up
With nothing but you’re sorries
And someday
You will get back
Everything you gave me
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
I’m beginning to see the light
Blow the candles out
Looks like a solo tonight
But I think I’ll be alright
i recently heard (watched) a cover of this done in glee by the warblers — duet by blaine (darren criss) and kurt (chris colfer). most prefer the original (who wouldn’t prefer originals?) but this version is more like, well… heart-felt (okay, i’m a sucker for a cappella). well, what do you, guys, think?
